Elisa graduated in Pharmacy from the University of Milan in 2023. She contucted a Master thesis internship at the ImmunoViroTherapy Lab headed by Vincenzo Cerullo at the University of Helsinki. During her period abroad she investigated the role of trained immunity on PeptiCRAd, an oncolytic vaccine developed by IVTlab.

In 2023 she joined Raffaella Bonecchi group where she is currentling investigating the regulation of granulopoiesis exerted by the atypical chemokine receptor ACKR2.
