Alessia Artusi

PhD student

Alessia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biomolecular Sciences and Technology in 2021, followed by a Master’s degree in Quantitative and Computational Biology in 2023, both from the University of Trento. She then pursued a pre-doctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Professor Simona Polo, where she focused on transcriptomics and the analysis of alternative splicing.

In December 2024, she joined the Laboratory of Medical Genetics and RNA Biology, led by Professor Rosanna Asselta, as a PhD student in the Data Science in Medicine program. Her current research interests include genomics and transcriptomics, with a particular focus on the integration of multi-omics data. She applies these approaches to investigate various complex diseases, such as severe COVID-19 and Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP).
