Graduated in Medical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine in 2022 at the University of Milan, Simone is now enrolled in the international PhD program in Experimental Medicine under the supervision of Professor Domenico Mavilio and Professor Silvia Della Bella. By exploiting single-cell technologies such as spectral flow cytometry and single-cell RNA sequencing, Simone aims to characterize the immune dysregulation occurring in patients affected by thymic epithelial tumors, a model at the crossroad between cancer immunology and autoimmunity.
