Augusto Bleve graduated in Medical Biotechnologies at the University of Bologna in 2014. In 2015 he obtained a one-year research fellowship at The Wallenberg Laboratory for Cardiovascular and Metabolic Research (University of Gothenburg). After a PhD earned at the University of Eastern Piedmont, Bleve is now working as a postdoc fellow at the laboratory o Molecular Immunology head by Prof. Antonio Sica at Humanitas Research Hospital.

His research focuses on Immunometabolism, in particular on the molecular pathways linking the systemic metabolic disorders (i.e. obesity, hypercholesterolemia) and the inflammatory profile of innate immune cells during cancer disease and cardiovascular dysfunctions.
