Claudia Albano graduated in Biology in March 2023 at the University of Milano-Bicocca, with a master thesis entitled “iPSC-based cardiac models to investigate a novel autosomal recessive variant of RYR2 segregating with Left Ventricular Non-compaction Cardiomyopathy”.
Since 2022, she has been working in Elisa Di Pasquale’s group first as an undergraduate for preparation of her thesis and now as predoctoral fellow, to continue her studies on left ventricular non-compaction cardiomyopathy through the use of two- and three-dimensional human cardiac models generated through differentiation of iPSCs.
