Enrica Cappellozza obtained her Master’s degree in Pharmacy and Industrial Pharmacy from the University of Ferrara in 2016 and carried out her PhD studies in Nanoscience and Advanced Technology (Morphological and Clinical Nanomedicine program) at the University of Verona (2017-2021). In 2020 she spent a period in France thanks to a collaboration with the University of Burgundy Franche-Comté in Besançon. During her PhD studies, and later as a research fellow, Enrica focused her research on the study of biological barriers and the development of a new in vitro/ex vivo model for pre-clinical studies. She subsequently worked for a year as a scientist at the Monasterium Laboratory Skin & Hair Research Solutions in Münster, Germany. Since 2023 she has been working as a postdoctoral researcher in the team of Dr. Marie-Louise Bang at Humanitas Research Hospital in Milan, where she is studying the role of an A-kinase anchoring protein in heart and skeletal muscle function and disease.
