Paolo is the coordinator and supervisor of the Humanitas Bioinformatics Unit.

Paolo completed M.Sc. studies at the University of Modena in late 2004; in 2006 he obtained a master’s degree in Bioinformatics at the University of Milano-Bicocca, and in 2011 a PhD at the University of Geneva in Switzerland. He then moved back to Milano to join Centro Cardiologico Monzino first and finally established at Humanitas Research Hospital in 2012. He took over the running of the Unit in 2018.

He contributed as first author or co-author in several scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
