Anna Sbalchiero holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics. She is about to complete her residency in Medical Genetics at the University of Pavia. Currently, she works as a junior researcher on the Telethon-Cariplo project led by Dr. Montserrat Climent in the laboratory Prof. Leonardo Elia at Humanitas University.
Her research focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying vascular instability in Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT), a rare genetic vascular dysplasia, through multi-omics analysis and in vitro cell model approaches, with the aim of identifying targets for translational applications.
