Antonella Lauriola

Antonella Lauriola earned her Master’s degree in Molecular and Medical Biotechnology from the University of Verona in 2023, where her thesis focused on the mechanisms of action of extracellular vesicles in muscle regeneration.

Following graduation, she joined the Immunology and Molecular Oncology Unit at the Veneto Institute of Oncology (IOV) in Padua, investigating the role of epithelial-mesenchymal plasticity in highly aggressive primary tumors and peritoneal metastases.

In 2025, she moved to Humanitas Research Hospital, where she joined the Tumor Microenvironment Lab led by Dr. Diletta Di Mitri as a PhD student of the European School of Molecular Medicine (SEMM).
