Costanza Cannariato is a bioinformatician specialized in the analysis of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data. She obtained her Master’s degree in Biomolecular Sciences and Evolution from the University of Ferrara and completed her PhD in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology (Genetics and Evolution curriculum) at the University of Parma. Her doctoral research, conducted at the Laboratory of Molecular Anthropology and Paleogenetics at the University of Florence, focused on the genomic characterization of ancient human remains.

Her expertise spans population genomics and cancer bioinformatics, with a focus on the analysis of Whole-Genome, Whole-Exome, and RNA sequencing data. She expanded her research interests in the fields of tumor genomics and immuno-oncology at the IRCCS San Raffaele Institute, where she worked as a bioinformatician.

Currently, she is a member of the Precision Immuno-Oncology Lab led by Dr. Cattaneo at Humanitas, where her research focuses on the genomic characterization of tumor cells and the development of in silico pipelines for neoantigen discovery, supporting personalized immunotherapy strategies.
