Fabio received his master’s degree in Physics from the University of Trento in 2024, discussing a thesis on computational simulations of AL amyloidosis-related proteins.

After graduation, he joined CNR-ISMN in Bologna, where he conducted research on automated computational workflows for the calculation of material properties in the context of the BIO-SUSHY European project.

In December 2025, he joined the Microbial Ecology Lab as a PhD student to investigate the effects of bile acids on the gut microbiome and the effects of toxins on bacterial communities using theoretical and computational models.
