Guadalupe Pereyra Gómez earned her PhD in Molecular Biology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain) in 2023, with a thesis focused on synaptic dysfunction and memory impairment. In 2024, she joined the laboratory of Prof. Michela Matteoli as a postdoctoral fellow.
Her current research investigates the interactions between microglia and the brain vasculature, with a particular focus on whether disruptions in microglia-vascular communication contribute to brain pathology.
