Matteo obtained his MSc in Biology at the University of Milan in 2025, following the LM-6 degree programme with a specialisation in Biology Applied to Biomedical Research. He completed a one-year internship at the Laboratory of Tissue Regeneration and Homeostasis at San Raffaele Hospital in Milan.

He is currently a research fellow at the Laboratory of Molecular Immunology, led by Professor Antonio Sica, at Humanitas Research Hospital.
