Abolaji Olagunju earned his PhD in Immunology from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2025, where he worked on developing cancer vaccine using the recombinant Listeria monocytogenes bacteria.

Currently, he is a Postdoctoral researcher at the tumor micorenvironment lab investigating immune cells dynamics in the bladder tumor microenvironment.
