Valentina Pravatà is a Technician at Humanitas. She holds a Master’s Degree in Medical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine from the University of Palermo, with a research thesis on neurodegenerative diseases. Following graduation, she worked as a Research Fellow at Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico (Milan), focusing on mesenchymal stromal cells and neonatal diseases.

She subsequently contributed to translational research on lipid metabolism at Fondazione IRCCS Multimedica (2023-2025), working on a project aimed at improving diagnosis and treatment of familial dyslipidemia.

Since 2025, she has been part of the Translational Rheumatology Lab at Humanitas University, where she is involved in laboratory-based activities in translational rheumatology, contributing to the MDR-RA project, aimed at investigating the molecular mechanisms of drug resistance in rheumatoid arthritis and developing personalized predictive models integrating clinical and molecular data.
