Francesca Romana graduated in Genetics and Molecular Biology (2019) at Sapienza University (Rome) and she obtained a PhD in Life Sciences (2023) from Sapienza University (Rome). During her PhD she focused her attention on the study of cancer metabolism in different cancer cell types.

Here in Humanitas, as a Post Doc in the group of professor Inforzato, she investigates the impact of the long pentraxin 3 (PTX3) on bone metabolism, in the context of bacterial osteomyelitis.
