Sefora Agrò

Bioinformatician

Sefora N. Agrò obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Tuscia. During this period, she spent one year at the Universidad de Sevilla Facultad de Biología as an Erasmus student. She received her Master’s degree in Functional Genomics from the University of Trieste, completing a bioinformatics thesis at the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) laboratories.

She joined the Translational Immunology Lab headed by Enrico Lugli in 2023 as a Bioinformatician. Her skills include multi-omics analysis such as single-cell RNA/TCR sequencing, Bulk RNA sequencing, and ATAC-seq. Her research focuses on using advanced bioinformatics to study the role of T cells in resistance to checkpoint blockade.
