Graduated with full marks and honors in Veterinary Biotechnology Sciences at the University of Milan, Valentina is currently enrolled in a PhD Programme in Molecular and Experimental Medicine at Humanitas University. She carries out research activities in the field of osteoimmunology and her project aims to investigate the role of the long pentraxin 3 (PTX3) in the context of bacterial osteomyelitis.
