Graduated in Medical Biotechnology in 2021 after an internship at Neuroscience Institute Cavalieri Ottolenghi (NICO), Cecilia Zen completed a one-year fellowship at Humanitas Research Hospital investigating the role of Pentraxin3 in neurodevelopmental disorders.

She is currently enrolled in the PhD program in Molecular and Experimental Medicine at Humanitas University investigating the physiological and molecular effects of inflammation episode on neurodevelopment and ASD-risk under the supervision of Professor Michela Matteoli.
