Laura Pala is a Medical Oncologist since 2014. She carried out her clinical activity at European Institute of Oncology in Milan from 2014 to 2022, where she has been involved in clinical and translational research in the field of melanoma and anti-cancer immunotherapy.

She is currently in charge of the Melanoma and Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology at Humanitas Gavazzeni in Bergamo, where she is involved in clinical research within national and international networks. Since December 2023 she joined Diletta Di Mitri’s group as a PhD student. Her research is mainly focused on resistance mechanisms to immune checkpoint-inhibitors and gender-based differences in anti-cancer immune-responses in patients with solid tumors.
