Matteo Miotto graduated with full honors in Biotechnology and Medical Biology at San Raffaele University before obtaining a 2nd level master’s degree in Genomic Data Science.

He joined the Developmental Neurobiology Lab, headed by Simona Lodato, in late 2021, and his main area of study has been the projection neuron-interneuron communication during brain development. Since 2025 he joined the Metabolomics Unit.
