She graduated in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at the University of Bologna. In 2021 she joined the lab of Maria Rescigno to study the interplay between the gut and the brain in pre-clinical models of intestinal inflammation. As PhD student she’s investigating the role of the recently described choroid Plexus Vascular Barrier during brain metastasis establishment.
