Dambra completed the M.Sc. in Biotechnology and Medical Biology at San Raffaele University of Milan (2021). After graduation she worked as a Research Fellow at the Humanitas Research Hospital in the Laboratory of Experimental Immunopathology, where she then joined the Humanitas University PhD programme in 2022. Her PhD project is focused on elucidating the role of MBL (a key molecule for the activation of the complement cascade) in cancer development and progression.
